Rutland area churches are gathering together to prayerfully ask God for an outpouring of his Holy Spirit, desired revival and spiritual awakening in our lives, churches, community and world! Over eight local evangelical Pastors and their congregations have been involved, and our goal is to gain 100% participation from Rutland area Pastors and congregations!

Rutland Area Christian Churches are invited to prayerfully seek God’s face for revival and spiritual awakening in our churches and our community. There is power in numbers, so we hope to see you here!

What Is A Concert of Prayer?
In the early days of our country, Jonathan Edwards called churches in the New England area to gather for prayer with three distinctives:

• Explicit agreement (Matt. 18:19).

• Visible unity of the Body of Christ (John 17).

• Extraordinary prayer, by which he meant persevering prayer to see the answer (Luke 11).

Spiritual awakening and revival came.

We want to revive this initiative.

Statement of Purpose
To promote monthly prayer events sponsored by area evangelical churches for the purpose of gathering Christians in central Vermont to pray for spiritual awakening in the church and revival in our community.
