Send me your Gold Wing Shock to Convert – (includes parts, complete conversion and shipping both ways)

I will test the pre-load slave prior to beginning conversion. I will also visually examine the shock, including the bump stop.

• • Insured shipping both ways.
  • Test the pre-load/RAP to make sure it adds/removes pre-load.
  • Dissemble and clean the shock (strut tested but left intact).
  • Disassemble and clean the pre-load.
  • Push out the old bushing
  • Sand the inside of the collar, install new bushing and sand the inside of the new bushing.
  • Drill the new mounting hole in the fork flange, cut the excess off and clean up the edges.
  • Reassemble the shock.
  • Fill the RAP, hose and preload with 5w fork oil.
  • Connect the hose and test the RAP to ensure it adds/ removes preload.

You will receive back what you sent me – converted to a RoadWing. I don’t anticipate any issues, but I will reach out if I encounter a problem. I have’t had any major issues with the shocks I have purchased, save one and I was able to secure the parts to remedy the issue.

Once Conversion is complete I will send pictures.
